Sixty years ago “utility” had a whole different meaning when it came to automobiles. The post WWII Mopar “Business Coupe” was something unique on the market as a large car with only a front seat for driver and passenger, but an extremely large trunk in the rear. The combination was great for the salesman on the go to carry all his supplies in the ample bustle. Through the years the workhorse has moved to more useful vans and pickup trucks. Finding one of these early working man commuters is fairly tough, but Tim Virgil from Santa Fe, New Mexico found a pretty nice survivor and took it Scott Clem at Desert Moon Rod & Kustom in Las Cruces, New Mexico for a complete mechanical overhaul.
