David Cassel's '39 ford Coupe

It’s supposed to be a secret, but this car was not David Cassel’s first shot at a hot rod. He had experience with a string of muscle cars, but eventually the urge to build his own hot rod bit him- hard! The common mistake with your first hot rod that a lot of people don’t like to share is that we usually bite off a little more than we can chew, OK- a lot more than we can chew. The vision of buying an old car like dad or grandpa did is a classic and certainly charming- the only problem is the cars were 40-60 years younger with far less exposure to abuse of a bunch of wrench happy butchers and the punishment mother nature can dish out.
